At Three Streets, we’re passionate about new writing. We’re dedicated to working in collaboration with writers to nurture and develop unique, fresh and exciting theatre.
We are excited by plays that push language in unexpected directions. We like plays that ask questions about the world in which we live.
Our next production is Freefall: A Double Bill at the New Wimbledon Studio from 10 – 13 July 2013, two new one-act plays by Matthew Bulgo (Last Christmas, Dirty Protest/Clwyd Theatr Cymru) and Becky Prestwich (Streetlights and Shadows, Time Out Critics Choice), which deal with the subject of traumatic memory with startling, poetic vision.
Recent Three Streets productions include The Ones Who Kill Shooting Stars by Stewart Parker Award-winning Irish playwright Conall Quinn (White Bear Theatre) and The Bird Trap by Hennessey Literary Award nominee Darren Donohue (Lost Theatre). Have a gander at our blog to read reviews of The Ones Who Kill Shooting Stars.
Recent workshops/readings include Citizenship by Hugo Plowden and Baby Bottle Cosmo by Tim Foley. Short plays include In the Garage by Bea Appleby.
